College Football

The rivalry has been played on a yearly basis since 1879, with Michigan holding a 50-39-7 series advantage over Minnesota. NFL News

Week 2 was full of amazing and shocking moments. While it didn’t match last year’s Week 2 in terms of excitement, there were certainly plenty of takeaways. I don’t think anyone saw Kirk Cousins beating Drew Brees on Monday Night Football, with one game-winning touchdown being a tipped pass that happened to go straight into DeSean Jackson’s hands. Don’t look now, but New England looks... vulnerable? The Patriots are 1-1 after losing to Kansas City 31-20, who is an improving team but not a threat at all to New England...or is it?

College Basketball

The college basketball season begins in November and ends in March, culminating with March Madness, a single-elimination tournament held over a three-week period that has become one of the most attended events on sports calendars. The rules and regulations of college basketball are governed by NCAA, which was founded in 1906 as an attempt to make athletic competition fairer among small colleges. In 2016, there were 347 NCAA Division I men’s basketball teams competing for the national championship title. The season ended with Oklahoma defeating Villanova 77–74 after double overtime to capture its fourth NCAA Championship trophy in school history.

International Soccer (e.g. Premier League)

While there are 30-plus countries that play organized soccer on a professional level, international soccer is dominated by five main ones. The Premier League, Spain’s La Liga, Germany’s Bundesliga, Italy’s Serie A, and France’s Ligue 1 all boast average attendances above 20,000 fans per game (Manchester United alone draws 90,000 per match) and at least one UEFA Champions League appearance every year. There are other leagues throughout Europe but none with as much clout or global relevance. More teams from these leagues compete in continental competitions each year than those from anywhere else in the world—and it’s not even close.

NCAA Basketball

Conference Play is in full swing, with several power conference teams starting to show their true potential. Arizona and Kansas State were two teams that looked like solid contenders for a Pac-12 or Big 12 title; however, those plans were both dashed on Friday. The Wildcats lost a double-overtime heartbreaker against Oregon State while Kansas State was knocked off by West Virginia.

NHL News

The Chicago Cubs ended their 108-year drought and broke a lot of hearts in Cleveland, Ohio when they defeated the Cleveland Indians 8-7 in Game 7. The win took place at Progressive Field in Cleveland, where many fans were expected to watch their beloved team win its first World Series title since 1948. Many waited outside for more than 12 hours for tickets, which sold out within minutes. However, that didn’t stop angry fans from protesting outside after police used pepper spray on those trying to sneak into previous games. Fortunately, there was no violence or injuries reported. Here are some other big headlines

MLB News

With spring training underway and ข่าวบอล Day around the corner, baseball is back in our lives. Now that pitchers and catchers have reported to their respective camps, we can get a better look at how some divisions might play out. Here are four teams to watch heading into 2017 In an interview with MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM, general manager Mike Rizzo says he expects Adam Eaton to be ready for Opening Day after undergoing knee surgery last August. Adam's been very aggressive with his rehab, Rizzo said Wednesday morning. He's made tremendous progress already. The 28-year-old outfielder led Washington with 13 home runs last season while posting a .288/.362/.428 slash line over 130 games. His 4.1 fWAR was also tops among Nationals position players -- impressive given that he played just 61 games after July 31 due to injury.
